This is one of two different models that the Dick's Sporting Goods in Princeton was carrying on 6/7/06. The Wildview STC-TGL1 by Stealthcam. This camera, just a simple, no extras camera is the cheaper of the two. It uses 4 C cells and takes pictures only, no movies. The high resolution mode gives 640X480, 320X240 at the lower. I was immediately impressed with the sharpness of the images! The buckles that hold the case closed are great! This should never leak. The manual looks like it was almost written by someone that was guessing what it could (or couldn't) do. Firstly, the manual says it is not Macintosh compatible. Before I read the manual I had it working on the Mac. There were no suprises. You plug it in via USB and it comes up as a drive. The camera has 8 megs of RAM built in, and a USB connector - the same gender as the computer - on the camera (cable included). This RAM reportedly will lose all its pictures if the batteries are removed, or become too drained. You can add an SD chip, which disables the RAM according to the manual, giving more room and non-volitile memory.
The trigger is slow, I think at least 5 seconds, even when it's light and doesn't use the flash. You'd need a feeder to hold the subject within view for 6 seconds to get a picture, unless the subject is just browsing anyway. It's not as sensitive as the Bushnell as far as light goes. With the flash, this could be a good thing when the subject is close.
I had this camera running outside last night. It didn't catch anything last night but did catch me this morning. Here's a pic or two:
Me,
Back hurts,
Car passing,
Wife peeking,
Brother peeking
I'm taking shots again tonite. I put the camera on a small tree facing the lawn. I seen deer slowly browse by here today. If I catch something tonite, you'll see it here tomorrow, maybe.
Here we are! Three good shots!

Some more great shots 6/13 early morning!
